Jump Rope Music Enhances A Workout

Jump roping is fast becoming one of the most popular exercise routines for many people. This is so for a whole host of reasons from economics and portability to ease and effectiveness. One thing, however, can really take a normal jump rope routine and pump up the volume – that’s jump rope music.

So, what is jump music and why should you consider adding it to your workout? it is essentially any song you like that has a pace that works with the swings of a typical jump rope workout. Aerobics music, for example, is ideal in its pacing. Essentially, this means just about any song will do.

When you go to pick jump rope music for your personal workout, remember you’ll want to mix up the pacing for an ideal workout. You’ll want slower music set for the beginning and the end of your workout. This will be to start getting your heart and body warmed up for a great workout. At the end, the slower serves to help you cool down and return your heart rate to a more normal level. The middle of the workout should be dedicated to music that sets a slightly faster (or much faster depending on your level of adeptness) pace to get your heart working out, too.

If you have favorite songs that set a decent pace, consider adding these to your jump rope routine. In addition to helping you set a pace, good jumping rope music also create a fun atmosphere and helps you hold on to the drive to continue the routine.

Remember, a single hour of jump roping can burn about 1,000 calories. But, even as that’s true, it’s not a good idea to start out reaching for that goal. Go for five minutes first, then 10 and so on.

Take your time and have fun! Use your jump rope music to add some excitement to your workout.
